Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf will make a state visit to Indonesia from March 24-28, 2013 to discuss post 2015 development agenda, according to presidential special staff for international relations Teuku Faizasyah.
He said the Liberian President and Nobel Peach Price Laureate, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, will have a bilateral meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Monday, March 25.
"The visit will be an opportunity for the two heads of state to closely monitor the progress of the implementation of various agreements which had been reached during a visit to Monrovia by President Yudhoyono," Faizasyah said.
When in Monrovia, Presidents Yudhoyono and Sirleaf agreed to step up cooperation in trade and investment, including technical cooperation through capacity building trainings.
According to the presidential special staff, Sirleaf's visit to Indonesia is considered important to ensure that the two countries cooperation has been on the right track and to continue to be optimized.
After the state visit to Jakarta, the Liberian president will make her way to Bali to attend a high level panel meeting on the post 2015 development agenda. (DWA/IGT)
