Denpasar (Antara Bali) - The Japanese Consulate General in Denpasar, Bali, is launching a "Konnichiwa Jepan Awards" 2014 or story writing contest on Japan in an effort to increase Indonesia-Japan relations.
"The contest which is open to the public offers a first prize in the form Denpasar-Haneda-Denpasar flight tickets," Sokhibi, a staff of the Japanese Consulate General said here on Sunday.
He said that stories taking part in the contest should have been published within the period of November 1 to November 24, 2014.
"All can take part in the contest. They should send their stories on Japan to the email address: konnichiwa-jepang@dp.mofa.go.jp," said Sokhibi.
There are two categories of the story contest, namely stories on Japanese tourism and stories on Japanese eduction and culture.
Sokhibi also called on the public to take part in judging the stories by clicking the 'like' sign on the facebook of the Japanese Consulate General in Denpasar.
Writers of the story which win the biggest number of 'likes' will win the first prize.
Winners of two categories will respectively get a pair of 'Yukata' for man and woman. While stories winning favorite categories will take home a water-proof walkman prize. (WDY)
