The participants of the meeting are representatives from Bangladesh, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand, China, and Vietnam, Sugiarto of the National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN) stated here on Monday.

"This technology is categorized as a non-destructive test technique," Sugiarto noted.
The Bali meeting was officially opened by BATAN Chairman Djarot Sulistio Wisnubroto. The next meeting to evaluate and review the use of radiotracer technology will be organized in Phuket, Thailand, late this year. (*/M038)
