Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The remaining candidates vying for slots in the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will go through test of intelligence on Monday.
The number of contenders had been narrowed to 48 from hundreds of hopefuls after two phases of selection, spokesman of the selection team Betti Alisjahbana said.
In the third screening the candidates would go through psycho test and English fluency on Monday to be followed with simulation, LGS (leaderless Group Discussion) interviews and presentation on Tuesday.
"From the tests we would see the intelligence and structure, working method, working potential,social relations, personality and integrity," Betti said.
The tests also would show the managerial competence , the core competence needed by a KPK leader, she added.
"We will involve competent agencies as well as psychologists human resource/management assessors and legal assessors," she said.
The all woman selection team would trace the track record of the candidates through cooperation with the KPK, police, prosecution office, state intelligence agency (BIN), PPATK , the finance ministry and other related agencies or organizations, she said.
She said the selection team hopes that the process of short listing would turn out the best candidates to make up KPK's leadership team KPK is to have a team of five chairmen including a chairman and four deputy chairmen.
Two candidates are already selected in earlier selection and the new chairmen would be installed to replace the present leaders who would end their term of office in December.
The 48 remaining candidates include 9 from the law enforcement agencies (prosecution office, police and KPK, 8 academicians, 6 from corporate bodies, 5 from KPK, 4 auditors, 4 from state institutions, the rest froth other organizations. (WDY)
