Gorontalo (Antara Bali)- An International Maize Conference (IMC) will be held in Gorontalo in October 2012.
While the event had been delayed since 2011, but the Gorontalo provincial administration has confirmed that the conference will be held this year.
"We have fixed the date from October 22 to 24r and the preparations are already in progress," head of the Gorontalo General Affairs and Public Relations Bureau Rifly Katili said on Sunday.
More than 30 biggest maize producing and importing countries will attend the conference.
Maize commodity players and growers will also take part in the event.(IGT)
