Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The finance ministry has taken followup actions on 86 Financial Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) reports on "inflated accounts" owned by civil servants, the ministry's chief said.
The 86 PPATK reports were received in 2011 and all of them had been reviewed and followed up with actions, Finance Minister Agus Martowardoyo said here Thursday.
After receiving the reports he had asked the ministry's inspector general and other first-echelon officials concerned to review the cases and take the appropriate actions.
As a result, on 30 of the reports, the ministry had conducted an investigation which led to the disciplining or dismissal of the civil servants concerned.
"A number of them have been given disciplinary sanctions and it has been decided to dismiss seven of them," he said.
The cases of the seven to be dismissed civil servants had also been reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) while on the rest of the inflated account reports , the ministry was still conducting the relevant investigations.(IGT)
