Denpasar (Antara Bali) - An Australian boy with initial LM (14 years old) was finally released from Denpasar jail on Sunday (Dec.4) after being detained for two months over illegal drug possession, an official said.
"He will be freed today," Chief of Denpasar jail Siswanto said, adding that LM would be deported to Australia and was also banned from entering Indonesia for the next six months.
Meanwhile, LM's lawyer Mohammad Irfan said his client was feeling glad to be freed from the jail.
"LM will be leaving for Australia either tonight or tomorrow," he said.
LM was caught by police in Kuta tourist resort in Bali on October 4, 2011 carrying 6.9 grams of marijuana in gross or 3.6 grams net in his pocket.(**)
