Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Manpower and Transmigration Minister Muhaimin Iskandar opened a Job Fair 2011 at Hall B, Jakarta International Expo, in Kemayoran, here on Friday.
The ministry of manpower and transmigration organized the Job Fair 2011 in cooperation with PT Jakarta International Expo and was supported by the Jobstree.com online media. It will last for two days (November 25-26, 2011).
In Job Fair 2011 a total of 123 large firms will take part and offer 13,025 job opportunities in 270 kinds of work.
It was estimated that 20,000 people would visit the fair open to the public for free.
Minister Muhaimin said the job fair was important and strategic in accelerating the placement of workers in a practical, efficient and effective way.
It could help job seekers to find the kind of work they need or want. Therefore, job seekers should not miss this opportunity, the minister said.(*)
