The president will depart from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta on Tuesday at 09.30 a.m. local time, the Press, Media and Information Bureau at the Presidential Secretariat said in a statement released on Monday night.
Earlier, President Joko Widodo offered deep condolences on the demise of King Bhumibol.
"On behalf of the government and people of Indonesia, I extend deep condolences on the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej," the president said shortly after the Thai king was pronounced dead on October 13.
The president said the demise of King Bhumibol meant that the world lost a leader who was close to his people.
In addition, he also saw King Bhumibol as a figure capable of bringing unity, reform and prosperity for the people of Thailand.
King Bhumibol Adulyadej died at the age of 88 after being on the throne for 70 years. He was seen as someone who contributed towards uniting the Thai nation.(WDY)
