Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Saudi Arabian businessmen have been committed to strengthening economic cooperation with Indonesia in terms of trade and shariah financing.
The commitment was facilitated by the Saudi Exports and International Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), grouped under the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) during a meeting here on Monday.
Held on the sidelines of the 41st IDB Annual Conference, the meeting between ITFC and Kadin was aimed at strengthening bilateral access, promoting shariah trade financing, and exchanging views between the businessmen from the two countries.
ITFC spokesman Eng Hani Salem Sonbol noted that the meeting was also intended to start new businesses between Saudi Arabian and Indonesian businessmen who share a common vision of business integration and sustainability with the IDB.
"ITFC will continue to offer such B2B programs for the businessmen from member countries to pave the way for mutually beneficial business cooperation," Sonbol remarked. (WDY)
