Hotels In Palu Ready To Make Sail Tomini A Success

Palu, C Sulawesi (Antara Bali) - The managers of star-rated hotels in the Central Sulawesi provincial city of Palu have expressed their readiness to help ensure the successful implementation of Sail Tomini's main event on September 19, 2015.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) along with numerous cabinet ministers and ambassadors from friendly countries are scheduled to attend the main event of Sail Tomini at Kayubura beach in Parigi Moutong district, Central Sulawesi.

As many as 2,185 hotel rooms have been made available for the participants and guests of Sail Tomini.

Swiss-bell Hotel General Manager Guntoro Purnomo noted here on Wednesday that he would offer special typical menus that have been specifically created for the guests.

"We are also introducing a menu of traditional cakes for breakfast such as tetu and putu, which are typical of this area. As part of the typical meals, we will serve 'uta dada' and 'uta kelo', the traditional meals of Central Sulawesi," he remarked.

Swiss-bell Hotel is tasked with providing residential accommodation to the Navy officers who will be present to enliven the event.

"A total of 45 rooms of various classes have been booked by the organizing committee," Guntoro affirmed.

He added that all the hotels, with their own standardization, are ready to welcome their guests and are committed to making Sail Tomini a success.

The readiness to welcome Sail Tomini's participants and guests was also expressed by Roa-Roa Hotel General Manager Abun Blasius, who pointed out that he was also ready to make the annual sailing event in Central Sulawesi a success. (WDY)
