Bandung (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian government is paying attention to the safety of Indonesians in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt, said an official.
"The foreign affairs minister is in constant communication with Indonesians in Egypt to ensure that they are safe," said Director for the Middle East region at the Foreign Affairs Ministry Febrian A Ruddyard, during a discussion on foreign policy reposition at Asia Africa Museum on Thursday.
Ruddyard noted that before the bloody conflict arose in Egypt on August 17, 2013, the Foreign Affairs Ministry had urged Indonesians in Egypt to avoid crowded areas. (*/M038)
