Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Chairman of Selukat Pengosekan Studio in the arts village of Ubud, Gianyar subdistrict, Dewa Ketut Alit, SSn will be teaching how to strike a mosque drum and Bali dances to students in Perth, Australia, from August 1 to 15 September.
"Such overseas visits are made every year in the last 12 years," Dewa Alit, a graduate of the Indonesian Arts Institute (ISI) said in Denpasar Thursday.
He said Australians are enthusiastic in learning Balinese arts and culture.
"We are teaching 50 participants three times a week," said Dewa Alit who is also is also a flying lecturer of striking drums and teaching Balinese dances in a number of higher institutions of arts in other countries, including the United States.
The students and people when visiting Bali in Pengosekan near Ubud, 40 km northeast of Denpasar, also increased what they already learned Balinese dances and arts.(IGT/T007)
