Kalla Scheduled To Meet South Korean Prime Minister, Businessmen

Seoul, S Korea (Antara Bali)- Vice President Jusuf M. Kalla will hold a meeting with South Korean businessmen and pay a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn here, Thursday.

Kalla will receive the CEOs of smart energy company Han Wha and electronic company Hyo Sung, according to information received from the vice president's secretariat.

Later, he will attend a business luncheon with Park Yongmaan, the chairman of the South Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Kalla will encourage South Korean businessmen to invest in Indonesia.

In the afternoon, Kalla and his entourage will meet Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn at his office in Sejong-ro, Seoul.

The members of Kalla's entourage include Indonesian Ambassador to South Korea Alexandra Prasetio, Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Franky Sibarani, Chairman of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Mulyaman Hadad, and Chairman of the Placement and Protection Agency of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BNP2TKI) Nusron Wahid.

Following the meeting with the prime minister, Kalla will meet South Korean Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Yoon Sang-jik.

In the evening, he will attend a dinner hosted by the Korean-Indonesian Partnership Council (KIPC).

The Indonesian vice president arrived in Seoul on Wednesday for a working visit until August 30, 2015.

He is invited to be the key speaker at a Peace Summit to be held on August 28 by the Universal Peace Federation. (WDY)
