power plant (PLTU) within six months. In addition we will build a new
steam-fueled power plant," Presiden said here on Sunday.
Presiden Jokowi said he will instruct the Minister of Energy and
Mineral Resources and the Minister of State Owned Enterprises to check
the electricity problems in Bangka Belitung directly.
"Next week the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and the
Minister of State Owned Enterprises will come to Bangka Belitung and
check directly the electricity problems in the field," Jokowi said.
He pointed out that the electricity problems also occurred in other areas in Indonesia.
"The electricity problems occurred in almost all provinces. But, in
Bangka Belitung I saw there was a solution for the province. The
solution was to replace the machine with the new one," he stated.
As a result, Bangka Belitung will get power supply in the next six months.
In addition, Jokowi said that the government will build a new
