Mataram, W Nusa Tenggara (Antara Bali) - Garuda Indonesia will investigate the death of its pilot when flying from the Lombok International Airport to the Sultan Salahudin Airport, West Nusa Tenggara, on Sunday.
"I don't see the exact cause of his death. The central management will investigate it," Garuda Indonesia General Manager for West Nusa Tenggara Province Sudarmadi said on Sunday night.
Captain Ramdanto died when flying a Garuda Indonesia GA4819 plane from the Lombok International Airport to the Sultan Salahudin Airport at around 04.00 p.m. local time on Sunday.
His body had been flown to the provincial capital Mataram.
The plane which carried 70 passengers landed safely at the Sultan Salahudin Airport in Bima district after the co-pilot took over the plane. (WDY)
