Delft (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Student Association in South Korea (Perpika) will hold an international conference themed Empowering National Pride With Knowledge Collaboration on July 7, 2013 in Daejeon, the event organizer has said.
"The idea of 'empowering national pride' is inspired by the increasing number of Indonesians, both at home and abroad as they are skeptical to their country's situation particularly on things related to the national leadership," the event organizer chairperson, Vina Sari Yosephine, said in a statement received in Delft Wednesday.
She said the conference which was organized for the sixth time by the Indonesian students in South Korea, was intended to raise the pride of Indonesians for their country besides strengthening their hopes to evoke a strong state in all aspects of development.
Vina said one of the conference series was writing a paper with several themes namely electronics, communications and informatics, energy, interdisciplinary social sciences, health care and pharmacy, natural science, applied science and technology innovation as well as food and agriculture. (*/DWA)
