Denpasar (Antara Bali) - The Bali Police arrested four suspects of "Pretima" theft, the sacred Hindu Temple objects placed in 27 temples across Bali province, according to a police officer.
"Based on the field investigation development, the suspects came to 16 temples, but they only remembered 12 temples," chief of the Bali Police detective and criminal affairs directorate, Adjunct. Comr. Harry Hariadi said here on Sunday.
He said that the four suspects were identified by their initials as IN, KO, MP, and KB as mentioned by another suspect IWD (39), a Karangasem resident, who was arrested on December 6, 2012.
"The four suspects were the experienced thieves who have cooperated with IWD to commit the theft in 2006," he said.
The police have been investigating 16 out of 27 scenes of the crime based on 22 reports, according to Hariadi.
"We still search the individual thief besides the four suspects who are incorporated in the gang of Hindu sacred objects thieves," he said.(DWA/M038)
