Balikpapan (Antara Bali) - A passenger of Lion Air JT 366/786 from Surabaya to Tarakan, East Kalimantan, died at Sepinggan airport, Balikpapan, at 6.15 pm local time.
Eko Prayitno (58), died when waiting a call for boarding, and entered the plane at Terminal B of the airport.
JT 366/786 was on a transit in Balikpapan after leaving Surabaya at 2.45 pm to Tarakan.
Earlier, according to Airport Duty Manager Yadi, Eko Prayitno looked pale, and brought to the airport's clinic.
"But before arrival at the hospital he died, and then was taken to Kanujoso Djatiwibowo hospital," said Kasiadi, Operational Manajer of PT Angkasa Pura I which runs Sepinggan airport.
At the hospital, the dead man had subjected to an autopsy and prepared to be brought to Tarakan on Friday.(IGT/T007)
