Karangasem, Bali, (Antaranews Bali) - A landslide killed two people and injured several others in Tatituhu Village, Kubu Sub-district, Karangasem District, Bali Island, on Sunday evening.

"I convey my condolences over the demise of the two villagers in Jatituhu," Artha Dipa, the deputy district head of Karangasem, stated while visiting the village affected by the landslide here on Monday.

Dipa distributed relief aid comprising food and blankets, among other things, to the victims.

Among the injured victims were six children.

Dipa urged local residents to remain vigilant in the current peak rainy season that often triggers hydrological natural disasters, such as flood, landslide, and whirlwind.
