Denpasar (Antaranews Bali) - Bali's exports of non knitted garments rose 20.83 percent in value to US$7.48 million in February 2018 from US$6.19 million in January the same year.
"The export value also rose but slightly by 2.65 percent from US$7.29 million in the same months in 2017," head of the Bali Central Bureau of Statistics Adi Nugroho said here on Thursday.
Adi said the exports of manually produced garments by cottage industries contributed 16.55 percent to the province's total export earning of US$45.26 million in February this year.
Bali's export earning dropped 8.93 percent from US$49.7 million in January, 2018, but rose 0.25 percent year-on-year.
The province exports garments mainly to Australia, Hong Kong, Europe, Japan and China. (WDY)
