Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Air Force Chief Marshal Agus Supriatna traveled
to Malang to inspect a Super Tucano single-turboprop aircraft of the
Indonesian Air Force, which crashed in the East Java city on Wednesday.
"I am aboard a flight to go there," he stated.
The Air Force chief affirmed that he was unaware of the exact cause of the crash.

Senoputro noted that the aircraft, piloted by Major Ifi and co-piloted
by Saiful, crashed in a densely populated area in the city at 10:15 a.m.
local time.
"The plane crashed into Mr Mujiantos house," he revealed.
The fate of the pilot and co-pilot was still unknown, while a local
resident, who fell victim to the plane crash, has been rushed to a
hospital.
"Officers of the Abdurrahman Saleh Air Base in Malang are in the process of clearing the wreckage of the aircraft," he stated.
The jet fighter crashed in a thickly populated area of L.A. Sucipto
Blimbing Road in Malang on Wednesday at 10:40 a.m. local time, according
to a witness.
Ananda, who lives close to the crash site, admitted to have spotted the
aircraft hovering and making loud sounds before crashing to the ground.
Several ambulances and fire trucks were sent to the crash site. (WDY)
