Jakarta (Antara) - The government has transfered Rp16.6 trillion village funds to the Village General Treasury Account (RKUD), or about 80 percent of the total village funds allocated this year at Rp20.7 trillion, a senior official said.
"Some Rp16.6 trillion has been transferred or 80 percent of the village funds set in the Revised 2015 State Budget at Rp20.7 trillion," Director General of Financial Balance of the Ministry of Finance Boediarso Teguh Widodo said on Monday.
He said that the amount consisted of Rp8.3 trillion transferred in the first phase and Rp8.3 trillion in the second phase.
Boediarso said his side would soon transfer the remaining one in the third phase, particularly to the district/municipal governments which had reported the disbursement of the first and second phase funds to villages.
However, according to the director general, of the 16.6 trillion, only Rp6.2 trillion had been transferred from the RKUD to the accounts of villages.
There is still a big amount of village funds from the central government which still remains undisbursed at the district/municipal levels. (WDY)
