Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Agung Laksono camp of Golkar party warned its rival in the party under Aburizal Bakrie to leave the faction office in the Parliament or facing the force of law.
Currently the ports of faction leadership in the Parliament are still held by Ade Komarudin and Bambang Soesatyo , respectively as faction chairman and secretary, both from the Aburizal camp. The two were appointed before Golkar were split into two with one under Agung Laksono and another under Aburizal Bakrie.
The government, based on the decision of the party's tribunal, gave its recognition to the one under Agung Laksono. Agung Laksono then appointed Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita to take over the post of faction chairman in the Parliament.
Agun Gunandjar Sudarsa, appointed leader of the Golkar faction of the Agung Laksono camp at the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) said Ade Komarudin and Bambang Soesatyo had been warned to leave the faction office. "If they refused , we could enter the room using legal instrument. The legal instruments are the Parliament internal security officers or police," Agun said here on Tuesday.
He said refusal by Ade Komarudin and Bambang Soesatyo to leave is against the law, therefore, they could face the force of law. Meanwhile, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said Ade Komarudin and Bambang Soesatyo are given time until the end of this week to leave the office.
Ade Komarudin and Bambang Soesatyo had said the decision of the Justice and Human Right Minister recognizing Agung Laksono camp was not valid as the dispute has yet to be settled at court. (WDY)
