Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Jakarta composite index opened higher rising 25.20 points or 0.51 percent to 4,987.78 points in the first minutes of trading on Wednesday after declining trend in the past several days on political concern post presidential election in the country.
The index of 45 most liquid stock rose 0.76 percent to 837.65 points.
Meanwhile volatile rupiah regained some of its lost value, trading at the level of 12,194 per US dollar from earlier level of 12,206. (WDY)
