Kuala Lumpur (Antara Bali) - An Indonesian migrant worker, Rukimah Juandi, was injured after she was attacked by two American bulldogs while mopping the floor in her employer's house in Masjid Lenggeng Village, Seremban of Malaysia, on Wednesday morning.
The dogs also attacked a savory rice seller and a police officer who tried to help the victim. Rukimah was attacked by the dogs when she was cleaning up the dirt on the floor.
She was not aware of the dogs that attacked her. "The dogs attacked and bit my left arm and made me fall. I tried to fight the dogs, but they became more vicious and bit my head, which caused serious wounds," Rukimah said as quoted in several media channels in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
Rukimah suffered injuries on her head, body and her left arm was broken. The savory rice seller, Hoosni Anuar Hamid, who helped Rukimah was also attacked by the same dogs after he called the police and the ambulance. The dogs attacked Hoosni in his rice stall.
Meanwhile, the police officer, Mohammad Nasser, who checked the dog bites in Rukimah's body, was also attacked by the same dogs when he was helping Hoosni in the stall. Nasser despite being wounded on his leg, rushed to take a gun and shot both the dogs to death. (*/M038)
