Jakarta (Antara Bali) - An earthquake meaduring 5.3 on Richter scale jolted Central Sulawesi Province at 10.06 pm on Sunday.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said the earthquake was located at 1.03 degrees southern latitude and 120.23 degrees eastern longitude, at a depth of 10 km, or some five km to the southeast of Parigimoutong, Central Sulawesi.
The earthquake has no potential to create a tsunami. (*/DWA)
