Batam (Antara Bali) - Foreign tourists visiting Batam in the first half of this year were dominated by those from Singapore.
Around 55.46 percent of 356,982 of the total number of foreign visitors to Batam in the January-June period came from Singapore, Yusfa Hendri, head of the Batamj tourism office, said.
Batam has become a favorite destination for many tourists from Singapore, which is only around 20 miles north of the Indonesian island.
