Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Security and legal certainty in Indonesia will determine the progress of national economy in facing the impact of global crisis, Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) Chairman Sofyan Wanandi said here on Tuesday.
"Indonesian economy remains strong enough but it has to be supported by security and legal certainty for its sustainable development," Sofyan said at a function to observe the 60th anniversary of Apindo.
Present at the event were Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa, State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan, Manpower and Transmigration Minister Muhaimin Iskandar, Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Chairman Jusuf Kalla, and around 300 national business-makers.
On the occasion Sofyan also mentioned a labor rally to demand wage hike on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Bekasi, West Java.
"Frankly speaking that the entrepreneurs are anxious enough to see implementation of law in the country, and that the political interest should not sacrifice the law," Sofyan said.(IGT/T007)
