Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Consulate General (KJRI) is promoting 10 new major tourist destinations in Indonesia, or the so-called "10 New Bali," at the Grandview Mall in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.
The Consulate General of Guangzhou revealed this in a press release received in Jakarta on Friday.
The Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia conducted a direct promotion for Indonesia's tourism at one of the leading malls in Guangzhou so that local Chinese people could get to know Indonesia closely, especially the concept of "10 New Bali," which are tourist spots currently being given a development priority in Indonesia.
The Indonesian Consulate General in Guangzhou said Indonesia not only owns the Bali Island, but also has other beautiful tourist spots spread from the eastern part of Indonesia in Papua, such as Raja Ampat to Weh Island in the western part of Sumatra Island.
The Indonesian tourism promotion event conducted by the Ministry of Tourism (Kemenpar) was supported by two dancers from the Jember Carnival, two musicians and one barista and five local tourism bureaus.
On the occasion, performances of Indonesian arts were also featured, such as sasando game, a musical instrument used in East Nusa Tenggara. In addition, a barista also demonstrated how to blend Indonesian coffee for a unique taste through an interesting presentation.
In its promotion, Kemenpar said Indonesia is ready to welcome Chinese tourists to various tourist attractions from 13,000 islands that are rich in culture and bio-diversity and have more than 1,000 ethnic groups. (WDY)
