"We will build ITX, the Indonesia Travel Xchange, which will be a digital market place," Arief added.
According to him, a number of tourism supporting businesses such as hotels, restaurants and travel agents can come together at the ITX.
In addition to optimally promote tourism potentials, digital promotion provides efficient and effective services for sellers and buyers.
Within two years of President Joko Widodos administration, Arief noted, the Tourism Ministry has been marketing with success. As a result, 12 million foreign tourists are expected to visit Indonesia in 2016.
The government expects that by 2019, Indonesia will rank second after Singapore in the tourism sector.(WDY)
