Denpasar (Antara Bali) - A total of ten public refueling stations (gas stations) in Bali, mostly in Denpasar, now provide Dexlite, which is a product of the latest diesel fuel from Pertamina.
"The number of gas stations that provide Dexlite will be increased to 40 units by the end of December 2016, in an effort to facilitate the consumers to get the product," Marketing Branch Manager of Bali and W. Nuasa Tenggara PT. Pertamina (Persero), I Ketut Permadi Aryakuumara, said through electronic mail received by Antara in Denpasar, Saturday.
Ten gas stations that provide Dexlite are spread among the regions of Gatsu, West Gatsu, Renon, and Hayam Wuruk, in addition to Suwung Batan Kendal, Penatih (Denpasar City), Jimbaran, Tuban (Badung District), and Banyu Biru (Jembrana), among others, at a selling price Rp6.450 per liter.
Dexlite, as a product of the latest diesel fuel from Pertamina, also took part in support of the Red and White held by Indo Pajero Community Bali to enliven the 71st anniversary of the country's Independence Day.
Dexlite is also supported through touring activities to provide opportunities for potential users to try the product while realizing its advantages.
"Cetane content is higher than diesel and makes better combustion. Performance increases, emission improves, making it more environmentally friendly," Aryakuumara said.
The Indo Pajero Community had also felt the advantages of Dexlite.
"The 'Hit the Gas' bit could have been toned down, but Dexlite make the engine pulling lighter," Chairman of the Indo Pajero Community, Ketut Alit Anom said.
Dexlite is the latest diesel fuel from Pertamina introduced in Bali since the end of June 2016.
Dexlite has Cetane Number 51, the maximum sulfur content of 1200 ppm, as well as additional additives to produce a better performance than the Solar (Biodiesel), in accordance with the tagline Dexlite "Save Fuel Diesel Powered". (WDY)
