Singaraja (Antara Bali) - Lake Tamblingan in Buleleng District, Bali Province, has high potential to become a conservation-based tourist destination as it has scenic and natural panorama.
"Tamblingan has dense tropical forest and has high potential to be developed into a conservation-based tourist attraction," Tamblingan community leader Jero Putu Ardana stated in Buleleng on Tuesday.
Ardana remarked that Lake Tamblingan, one of the largest in Bali, was now being explored by various parties to transform it into a new tourist attraction to draw local and foreign tourists.
Ardana expressed hope that in future, the management of Lake Tamblingan can be integrated with environmental preservation in the region.
"Lake Tamblingan is one of the largest lakes in Bali and has a strategic contribution as it supplies water to several districts on the island of Bali," he noted.
Therefore, Ardana has called on all parties to be committed to preserving the lake and transforming it into an interesting tourist attraction for both local and foreign tourists. (WDY)
