Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is set to hold bilateral talks with several leaders of friendly countries on the sidelines of the Asian African Summit at the Jakarta Convention Center on Thursday.

On Thursday morning, Joko Widodo will meet with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan O Cha and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. The meeting with the Thai premier will start at 08.00 a.m.

After opening the Asian-African Parliamentary Conference at the House of Representatives (DPR) building at 10.45 a.m. the Indonesian leader will meet with King of Swaziland Mswati III and then with  Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheik Hasina.

At 11.45 a.m. the Indonesian President will meet with Madagascar President Rajonarimampianina Hery, and at 00.15 p.m. with Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.

After having a lunch,  President Joko Widodo will meet with Nepali Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at 02.00 p.m. He will later meet with  Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.

At 03.00 p.m. the Indonesian President will hold talks with Chairman of the Presidium of the North Korean Supreme People's Assembly Kim Jong Nam and later with Timor Leste Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak.

Earlier, President Joko Widodo also held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese President  Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the summit on Wednesday.

The talks with the Japanese Prime Minister were about developing the South-South cooperation to improve the stability and welfare of Asian and African countries and their people, while the talks with the Chinese President concerned efforts to enhance cooperation between the two countries.(WDY)
