Denpasar (Antara Bali) - A total of 26,860 people in nine districts or municipalities reportedly suffered from diarrhea during the January-June 2014 period, noted a health official.
"We continue to pay serious attention to the outbreak of diarrhea in Bali," Head of the Disease Control and Sanitation of Bali`s Health Service Gede Wira Sunetra stated here on Friday
Sunetra remarked that of the nine affected districts, the Buleleng District recorded the highest number of diarrhea cases with 4,947 patients followed by the Gianyar and Tabanan Districts with 4,394 and 4,121 patients respectively.
The lowest number of diarrhea cases were reported in the Jembrana District with 1,390 patients, he pointed out. (WDY)
