Based on information in the field, Figian was arrested by officers on Friday night (October 26) around 11.00 p.m. (local time) in Kulon Sewulan village.
He allegedly served as a bomb assembler and provided funding for a number of terror incidents in the country.
Rahayu Ningsih, Figian's wife, said that she did not know anything about the arrest of her husband.
"He has not come home since last night. In fact, our family is still looking for him because we haven't heard from him, and he also took a key to our house," Ningsih told reporters.
Ningsih said she was surprised to hear that her husband has been arrested as a terrorism suspect and did not believe that her husband is involved in terrorism activities.(*/M038/T007)
