Bengkulu (Antara Bali) - Bengkulu Police arrested six alleged Afghans for having no immigration papers at Fatmawati Soekarno airport with Jakarta as destination, Bengkulu Police Resort Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Joko Suprayitno said Thursday.
The foreigners were first discovered by Kampung Melayu police resort at Fatmawati airport.
After being examined and turned out without immigration papers from their country they were held for further investigation of their country and destination.
The six foreigners along with three of their friends had also been held at Rejang Police Resort for a traffic accident.
They came from Riau using travel facility and upon arrival at Rejang Lebong they had an accident, while six others are already in Bengkulu city, he said.(IGT)
