Madiun (Antara Bali) - At least dozens of children under five years old (Balita) in Lemah Ireng, Kaliabu village, Mejayan subdistrict, Madiun district, East Java, suffered food poisoning after returning from integrated health service posts (Posyandu).
The children are now hospitalised at the Caruban Regional Hospital (RSUD). Many of the children are suffering from vomiting, limp, fever and convulsions.
"My child started vomiting after eating green bean porridge and quail eggs in Posyandu on Thursday," said the parent of a child, Kartika, here on Friday.
Emergency room services (UGD) in the hospital are fully occupied with treating the children suffering from food poisoning.
Meanwhile the RSUD spokesman, Trimo, stated that the nurses are focussing on the medical aspects.(IGT)
