Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The finance ministry said non tax state revenues (PNPB) reached Rp262.4 trillion exceeded the target of Rp245.1 trillion set for 2016.
The revenues included Rp65.5 trillion in natural resource income or 72.3 percent of the target of Rp90.5 trillion, Rp37.1 trillion in dividend from state companies or 108.7 percent of the target of Rp34.2 trillion, Rp117.3 trillion in other PNPB or 130.5 percent of the target of Rp84.1 trillion and Rp42.2 trillion in Public Service Agency (BLU) income or 117 percent of the target of Rp36.3 trillion.
Oil lifting in 2016 totaled 829,000 barrels per day exceeding the target of 820,000 barrels per day an d gas lifting averaged 1,184,000 barrels oil equivalent per day .
However, cost recovery totaled US$11.9 billion exceeding the target of US$8 billion.
Earlier Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati expressed appreciation for the larger than expected PNPB by Rp17 trillion, helping offset a shortfall in tax revenues.
"PNBP could compensate shortfall in tax income. This a quite positive story," the minister said.
Sri Mulyani said the performance in PNPB indicated improvement in discipline in the tariff collection. (WDY)
