Kupang, E Nusa Tenggara (Antara Bali) - The Japanese Ambassador to Indonesia, Yasuaki Tanizaki, is scheduled to visit the East Nusa Tenggara provincial city of Kupang on Thursday, according to the mayor of Kupang, Jonas Salean.
Salean said the visit to Kupang by the Japanese ambassador is to step up cooperation in the improvement of human resources quality in the city.
"The cooperation on the improvement of human resources quality will be discussed with the Japanese ambassador to Indonesia," he remarked here on Tuesday.
According to him, the government of Japan in the context of cooperation will facilitate education and courses in the scope of personnel resources of Kupang city government through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
He said all fees for the education and courses in Japan will be finance by JICA with the concentration of science and knowledge that will be given.
"The duration of education will be adapted to educational materials and courses that will be acquired by each apparatus involved in that activity. It can be six months, nine months, and even 12 months," Salean said. (WDY)
