Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The government has set an oil lifting target at 850 barrels per day (bpd) in the state budget next year, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Sudirman Said stated.
"The natural gas lifting in 2016 is about 1,100 thousand - 1,200 thousand per day," Sudirman Said told a working meeting of Commission VII on energy affairs of the House of Representatives (DPR) here on Tuesday.
Compared with the oil and gas lifting targets in the 2015 revised state budget which were respectively at 825 bpd and 1,221, the targets in 2016 only undergo a slight change.
The realization of oil lifting from December 2014 up to May 2015 is about 752 bpd while the gas lifting is about 1,168 per day.
The head of the SKK Migas oil and gas regulator, Amien Sunaryadi said the target was not big because the oil and gas wells naturally experience degradation.
But he is optimistic that the target in 2016 could be achieved.
The meeting with the Commission VII also discussed the Indonesian Crude Price which was set at 60-70 dollars per barrel and the House Commission has agreed it. (WDY)
