"The dwindling population of the starling need the serious attention of all concerned in Indonesia," Head of the West Bali National Park P Bambang Darmadja said on the sidelines of a meeting discussing the conservation of tigers at Ayodya Hotel, Nusa Dua, on Monday.
He said actually in the last few years the government has already started carrying out certian programs of conserving the Bali starling to prevent it from extinction.
A similar fate is also facing the Sumatera tiger, which are now only 400 left.(*)
