Bogor (Antara Bali) - Indonesian senior comedian Djuhri Masdjan also known as Djojon died on Thursday in Ramsey Premier Hospital Jatinegara, Jakarta at 6:30 a.m., local time.
The deceased will be taken to his home to Puri Pangeran Road No.3, Imperial Golf Estate Sentul City, Bogor.
Djojon was reported to have died of a heart disease. "He was being treated in the hospital for several days," Djojon's wife Bunda Henny clarified.
Djojon was born on June 5, 1947 in Jakarta and started his career as a comedian around the 1970's.
He is a former member of the Jayakarta group along with Cahyo and Uuk.
In the world of comedy, Djojon had always put on a Charlie Chaplin or Adolf Hitler-like mustache that had been his characteristic look since then. (*/DWA)
