"It is necessary that we have as well an early warning system to anticipate and to prevent a social disaster from happening," Salim Segaf said at a gathering to discuss local wisdom in Central Sulawesi.
The social affairs minister pointed out that war toys for children since their early childhood were feared to lead them to do the same when they grow up.
But with the early warning system, coupled with social solidarity and and the spirit of mutual help, he noted that that social crime and disaster could be prevented.
Therefore he said it was necessary for the universities to do some researches to find out the root of social conflict and thereby they could create a right and adequate early warning system.(IGT)
