Manado (Antara Bali) - Since the activity of  Mt Lokon in Tomohon , North Sulawesi had been increasing at 9.34 am local time  yesterday, there had been 321 tremors, head of the Lokon and Mahawu mountain's observation post in Kakaskasen, Tomohon, Farid R Bina, said in Tomohon Friday.

Farid said the tremors had been increasing without any sign of a decline.

"If this goes on, a very large eruption may break out," he said.

Yesterday at 00.00 to 06.00 local time a distant tectonic quake , two deep volcanic quakes, 11 shallow volcanic quakes, and five puffing tremors had been recorded.

In the following six hours, there had been four deep volcanic quakes, 24 shallow volcanic tremors and a puffing quake.(IGT)
