Denpasar (Antaranews Bali) - The National Anti Drug Agency (BNN) has nabbed a drug trafficker, I Nyoman Mahardika (31), on charge of being in possession of illegal drug in Bali.
Mahardika was arrested on Sunday night with 613.6 grams of methamphetamine, a Bali BNN officer Adj. Sr. Com. I Ketut Arta, said here on Monday.
Part of the illegal drug was found in his motorcycle when he was about to sell the drug in the Sanur beach that night and part in Banjar Gede when BNN raided his house there later, Arta said.
BNN also found 70 ecstasy pills from the house of the suspect.
Mahardika told his investigators that he was ordered by a man with initial of MM who is a convict at the Kerobokan prison to take the drug from Legian in Kuta, to be brought to a certain buyer.
BNN, however, did not take information from the suspect as a fact, Arta said, adding investigation would continue.
Mahardika said he had become drug trafficker for six months in Denpasar and Badung.
Arta said beside Mahardika BNN had also arrested five other traffickers and user of ecstasy in different places in Bali.
"The five are Nyoman Darma, Abdul Hafid, Sugiono, Ade Bara, and Agung Erry," he said.
BNN confiscated 107 ecstasy pills from Darma, and 50 pills from Abdul Hafid , 112 ecstasy pills from Ade Bara, he said.
He said BNN also seized methamphetamine from the suspects. (WDY)
