Manado (Antara Bali) - Metro Pos journalist covering Manado resort police activities, Rio Linggotu (26), was found killed at around 5am local time in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Sunday.
The news was reported by Paul Adrian Sembel who is a member of the Tomohon district legislative assembly.
"Manado is becoming unsafe. It is really concerning. I conveyed my deep condolence. Investigation must be done and action must be taken against the perpetrators. The law must be enforced," the politician from the Indonesia Democratic Party-Struggle (PDIP) said.
According to information, Rio has 14 wounds consisting of four slice and 10 stab wounds.
The case is now under police investigation while his body is now kept at the Malalayang regional hospital. (IGT/T007)
