Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Five terrorist suspects, who were shot to death in Bali on March 18, had planned to carry out 'fa'i' or collect money through robberies to support their missions, a National Police spokesman said here on Monday.
"They had planned to rob jewelry shops, money changers and cafes," the National Police head of the public relations division, Inspector General Saud Usman Nasution said.
Two of the suspects, who were shot in two locations in the Gunung Soputan area, were HN (32) from Bandung and AG (30) from Jimbaran, he said.
The other three were UH alias K (31) from Jepara, Central Java, D (27) from Bandung, and M alias AH (30) from Makassar, South Sulawesi. They were shot in the Danau Poso area, he added.
