Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Police anti-terror unit Densus 88 have arrested two men suspected of being members of a terrorist network in Poso, Central Sulawesi.
"The two alleged members of a terrorist network were arrested by Densus 88 members at the exit gate of Poso central market," head of National Police public information bureau Senior Commissioner boy Rafli Amar said here on Friday.
One of the two who were arrested at 7.25am on Thursday is Naim hailing from Napu. The member of the Jamaah Ansharut Tauhid group in Poso has received funds from Umar who is a member of the Medan group for use to finance terrorism training in Poso along with Santoso who is nowt still at large," he said.
"Naim has also acted as a liaison between groups in Medan, Aceh, Solo, Lamongan, East Kalimantan, Jakarta, Bima to make them participate in the training in Poso," he said.
Boy said another suspect caught is A by his initial from Kilo village in Pesisir Utara, Poso while he was with Naim.
The evidence secured include a blue Jupiter motorcycle with plante number DN 3594 YH under the name of Imran from Labuan village. The suspects have been brought to Play for intensive investigation," he said.(IGT)
