Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The January 2012 edition of TV Program "ASEAN Today" will be distributed on December 25, the ASEAN Secretariat said in a statement here on Saturday.
The program is a co-production of the ASEAN Secretariat, Indonesia's Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, ASEAN Indonesia, AirAsia and Metro TV.
The January 2012 edition of "ASEAN Today," the monthly program focused on the world's most dynamic region, will feature Southeast Asia's royalty.
Along with the latest news from the ASEAN Secretariat, they profile Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
The program is co-anchored from Jakarta and Bangkok this month, with Dalton Tanonaka of Indonesia's Metro TV and Chairat Thomya of Thai PBS.
Another highlight is an interview with Indonesia's biggest overseas success, Anggun C. Sasmi. The 37-year-old singer was back in Jakarta for a homecoming concert from her home in Paris.
Also part of the program is a business report on Malaysia's premium charcoal industry, and three top tourist attractions in Vietnam's largest city Ho Chi Minh City.(T007)
